Just created a new account but even though I got an on-screen message stating that a confirmatory email had been sent, I never received it and am unable to activate my account. help!

that's exactely what happened to me. I tried twice, with 2 new accounts using two different providers for the emails, you know, to avoid problems with one of the providers, but I never received the validation email and yes I checked the spam folder too. The providers I used are hotmail and yahoo. Is there a problem with those?

Yes, I used the same strategy. Tried registering with yahoo then when that didn't work gmail. And I also checked the spam folders. The details have obviously been registered with fcz as when I tried to re-register with the same details I got a message saying that someone was already using that email address.

Not sure what went wrong, but I reset your passwords and login seems to work now. Check your PM for the new PW.
