This event was a massive improvement from the last horrible event. If Kimbo would have fought Shamrock instead he woulda destroyed him since Ken is washed up and has been for a very long time. This was EliteXC's way to say that Kimbo is legit by beating a hall of fame'r. I was very happy to see the over hyped get crushed by a low tier fighter. first 3 aired fights were great, 4th fight was kinda slow but had its good moments too.

A very solid glitzy event that is really in keeping with the type of image CBS want their MMA to be. Okay its not purist pleasing but it did the job.

I especially enjoyed the Carano - Kobold fight.

First time I've seen Gina Carano. Really impressive... body..! But seriously.. she is trim. And an awesome fighter!
Less of that, first EliteXC show I'd seen, and was really impressed, will be following the future shows intently. Especially Carano!

Definitely the best EliteXC event til now. Even managed to keep me awake which is always quite hard at 6AM local time after a night out All the aired fights were nice and I loved the outcome of the Kimbo fight. And apparently EliteXC also did quite well, concerning the ratings. Good to see Arlovski doing well again ... supposedly he's scheduled to fight Fedor next now. I can't see him winning that one in any way, other than puncher's chance. Roy had him in troubles on the ground before a bad standup ... Fedor's not gonna give the ref any reason to even consider a standup - apart from a tap by Arlovski
